My role: Lead UI/UX designer
Explore the objects through Maria’s eyes and find a way to restore them.
Rediscover the defining objects of decades past to the tune of the original soundtrack,
inspired by the sounds of the 80s.
Creating these screens required some prototyped iterations made on some quick UX prototyping tools, and once the main way we would navigate through those stories and puzzles was decided, I started to design the UI of these screens. The direction that was given to me was to make it look like the pages of a book, but with a stronger design.

I created a good amount of page templates variations and font combinations. Once on Unity,
we only had to pick the right pages and attribute the right dialogues and illustrations.
During puzzle-solving moments, some short dialogue show at the top of the screen.

Once the puzzle is completed, the story part plays again, until the chapter is marked as complete.
When designing these screens, every detail mattered. Maximum font size, maximum word length, mandatory CTAs
and exceptions. Everything had to be considered and tested to ensure all screens were going to be displayed correctly.
